2020 State Legislative District Profiles

North Dakota Compass provides demographic and socio-economic profiles for the 2013-2022 North Dakota State Legislative Districts. The profiles highlight 16 measures focusing on population, household, social, and economic characteristics for each of the 47 districts in North Dakota. Each profile compares district information with North Dakota and the United States.

2020 Profiles

The template of the 2020 North Dakota State Legislative District Profiles is slightly modified from the previous editions. Under the Household category, the Householders living alone indicator was replaced with Householders age 65 and older living alone and the Average EITC Credit was replaced with Families with children ages 0 to 17.

In 2020, we created again interactive maps for all districts featuring all 16 measures by topic area. The maps add value to the individual district profiles by having all the information on a map to easily compare district with district. The legend is especially helpful to see how much variation there is among districts.
