Connection to adults

All children and youth crave care and support from adults in their family and beyond. These relationships are key developmental assets that research has shown to help young people avoid risky behaviors, develop resilience, and thrive on their paths to adulthood. This measure shows the percent of students who perceive that there is at least one adult - including family members, teachers, coaches, youth workers, mentors or others - who they can trust to talk to if they have a personal problem in their life.
