Population

Changes in population are the result of births, deaths, and migration of people into and out of a community or geographic area. Population growth or decline has implications on the job market, housing, education, and health care. Understanding population dynamics of a state can help community members, activists, business men and women, and professionals properly examine the status of the state and make pertinent decisions. Moreover, policymakers and planners can utilize population projections to gauge future demand of services, energy, and food while simultaneously projecting economic development.
